The EX-2311-2IS USB-C to RS-232 cable provides a high performance RS-232 serial UART 16C550 interface with 15KV surge protection & 4KV isolation. It is designed to connect serial devices to the USB 1.1 to 3.2 Gen 2 bus of a PC, server or workstation. Simple installation on the USB port means there is no need to open the computer and the converter can be installed while the computer is running. The knurled screws can be replaced with the two nuts supplied if the cable to be connected has screws.
