Power over Ethernet (PoE) Injector, Gigabit
The Power-over-Ethernet functionality allows network administrators to install the EX-6006PoE up to 100 meters away from PoE devices such as wireless access points, IP cameras, and more. The EX-6006PoE boosts a common 12 VDC input voltage to 48 VDC for the PoE power source. Thanks to its small size, the PoE solution is not only easy to use, but also easy to install in inaccessible places. The EX-6006PoE then acts as the power source equipment (PSE) for the powered device (PD). This gives installers more installation flexibility, as the end device no longer needs to be in close proximity to a power outlet. Using IEEE 802.3af/at Power over Ethernet (PoE), the EX-6006PoE eliminates the need for a nearby power outlet and provides a reliable and user-friendly networking solution. This preserves the user's investment in LAN and Internet applications.
