The rugged and industrial grade EX-1170HMVS is a USB 2.0 metal hub for up to ten end devices. The hub provides ten USB 2.0 downstream ports with 15KV ESD surge protection. It is thus possible to connect up to four external USB peripherals to one USB 2.0 port from the computer in a 19" rack. By supplying power via the two-wire terminal block connector or the DC-Connector, 500mA can be made available at each USB port. It supports the Hi-Speed USB 2.0 data transfer rate of up to 480Mbit/s and is backward compatible to USB 1.1. The EX-1170HMVS can be powered with USB-Bus power, via a two-wire terminal block connector or via a DC-Connector (+5V bis 24V). The HUB meets the special requirements of industrial applications.
